About the Artist
Landscapes, seascapes, florals, wildlife, children and tropical

  I was born in Pittsburgh, Pa in 1937. Growing up I loved doing pencil drawings of things I saw around me and that was my only art experience until 1985. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry in 1963 I relocated to Florida with my wife Lynn and son Joey. We were blessed with a second son Jim in 1964. I have practiced Dentistry in Altamonte Springs for over 40 years until my retirement. 
  In 1985 I purchased a watercolor set and an instruction book and started my art career at first as a hobby. I sold a few paintings and gave away a lot. In 1990 I entered the Artists Magazines national contest and won an honorable mention in the Wildlife Catagory. The year after that I started doing juried art shows around Florida
with some success.
  Living in Florida and loving the outdoors has given me the inspiration to paint things of interest  that I see around me. My art is rather detailed and tight, probably because of my Dental training, but that is just me. I hope you will enjoy my art and my web site and will return often.
